Please continue reading because we are looking for a Project Designer in the UK (Barford)!As a Project Designer you will ensure the optimum performance of the design and simulation processes of the allocated orders on the basis of customer specifications and project specifications for the technical dossier of the mechatronic production lines to be assembled, so that the production, assembly, installation and commissioning process can be started. Tasks and responsibilities:

Studying, analysing and discussing the order with the client, Project Manager and Project Engineer. Creating draft designs. Discussing the order with the Designers (both internal and external) and checking the designs in terms of costs and engineering. Developing draft designs, using a 2D or 3D CAD system. Technical analysis of, reporting on an discussion of the designs created. Issuing the designs to the

Project Engineer for production, assembly, installation and commissioning. Resolving and deciding on design and production problems during assembly at the customer, at production in Breda and at suppliers. Generating the total package of drawings (2D+3D) and standard spare parts lists. Informing the Project Manager or Project Engineer with regard to progress and possible disruptions. Following up and reporting on the design schedule to the

Project Engineer(s) and Project Manager(s). Technical reporting on problems and solutions, to the project team, suppliers and customer. Taking over the tasks/subtasks of the Designer/Project Engineer on the project. Providing support in making calculations for quotations and evaluating quotations.  Your profile: A bachelor degree in Mechanical

Engineering or comparable course. Minimum of 5 years of operational experience. Good knowledge of production, measurement and assembly techniques. Presentable, proactive, initiative taker and independent. Exudes seniority and determination. Constructive and analytical insight, is able to set priorities, is able to delegate work. Good communication and organisational skills. Can make clear reports. Cost and quality consciousness, strives to achieve common project objective.

Thinks, acts, evaluates, corrects. Good verbal and written skills in English and German Languages.
